About Us
Sidelines is a sports pitch line marking service for grassroots clubs, schools, colleges and local authorities across Kent and the South East.
Whether you're in need of line marking from scratch or over-marking, we can help prepare your pitch for match day, saving both time and hassle while giving peace of mind.

We are also able to provide over marking for 3G pitches.

Markings are applied using a powerful pressure jet spray marker and approved paints for strong adhesion, ensuring a single pass gives great stand-out and a professional looking finish every time.

Fully insured and members of the Grounds Management Association (formerly IOG).

The Importance of Regular Over Marking
Maintaining visible, straight lines on a field of play is important for a number of reasons:

* Integrity of the game - dubious or feint/ worn lines can lead to ball in-and-out of play issues and make a referee's decision making difficult.

* Separating teams - i.e an accurate penalty area arc ensures opposition defenders are 10 yards from a penalty being taken.

* Player and supporter safety - for example 'Respect' lines to reduce spectator encroachment.

* Remember - line marking should be final major job of pitch preparation - we ask our customers to ensure their pitch is cut/ brushed (as needed) at least 24hrs prior to marking, to remove surface debris, and enable a strong paint contact and presentation.
Simon Jasinski
Simon is passionate about grassroots football, with over two-decades' involvement at non-league clubs in Kent and Sussex.

During this time he has won Sussex FA's 'Football Workforce Volunteer' award, with his service recognised as part of Kent FA's #KentFAThanksYou initiative.

Simon has successfully gained Sport England and Football Foundation grant funding; grew local business sponsorship, edited club websites and programmes, became a qualified coach, and more latterly, undertook pitch maintenance.

It was while helping his local Sunday side that Simon began line marking, taking great pride in preparing the pitch for the side, while receiving guidance along the way from the Grounds Management Association - whom Simon is a member - and Kent FA.

Understanding the multitude of tasks that go into running a grassroots club, Simon set up Sidelines with the aim of removing hassle and saving time so club members can focus on the enjoyment of watching or playing.
